Classes for Adults
Vinyasa can be translated to ‘moving with breath’. In this style class, students will link conscious awareness of breath with mindful movement. Class will consist of a warm up, quicker moving standing sequences, a cool down and short guided meditation. An overall more vigorous class with modifications provided for those newer to the practice or dealing with an injury. Students will leave feeling invigorated, strong as well as calm.
Perfect for everybody and anybody! Each Zumba® class is designed to bring people together to sweat it out! Take the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, heart pumping dance party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you'll see why Zumba® Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. Super effective? Check. Super fun? Check and check!
Function-ally Fit Adults
An interval training class including strength training, stability training, and bodyweight exercises designed to increase muscle tone and improve cardiorespiratory fitness. Special emphasis will be placed on functional training, allowing participants to become stronger, more stable, and better equipped to perform activities of daily life.
Body Positive Yoga
This hour long class will focus on gentle movement and is suitable for all ages all experience levels and body types., The class will follow a meditative flow that allows for students to slow down and connect to their breath and their emotions. Led by a mental health counselor, this class may also benefit anyone who is currently experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma symptoms, disordered eating, or anyone who is simply looking for relief from the chronic stress of daily life. Think of this class as a gentle brain massage, where students will develop self-compassion and make peace with their bodies., This will be a safe space to learn about your own power through breath, strength, and balance.
A class combining the offerings of traditional yoga with special focus on mature students, those with injuries or those interested in a gentler style class. Each class will consist of breath work, a longer warm up, and then move to postures and sequences designed to build strength, flexibility and balance. Modifications will be provided to help each student feel empowered and successful with their practice.
Small Group Personal Training
Small Group Training sessions are led by a certified personal trainer and will use a variety of equipment and modalities to tone, strengthen, increase lean muscle, and improve balance. Clients will receive individualized attention, progression, and skill development while also feeling motivated by, and learning from, other participants.
